Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site leadership role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

This live-in, full-time seasonal position requires leading a high-volume kitchen with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, delivering scratch cooking and top-quality service while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff, fostering a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and top sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods office.
