Job summary

Copper Mountain Resort is seeking a Kitchen Lead for a seasonal role in Colorado. The role oversees food production at a specific kitchen station, ensuring quality and adherence to recipes and standards.

Lead responsibilities include supervising up to ten staff, training on food-handling practices, and assisting with ordering and menu development. This role requires the ability to work across multiple outlets and shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort, or private club required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Copper Culinary Guidelines and standards.
• Owns proper culinary tools and personal hygiene practices.
• Supervises and trains lower-level kitchen staff in food-handling, rotation, sanitation and dating.
• Manages production at assigned station and coordinates with other stations.
• Assists with food ordering to maintain inventory and ingredients availability.
• Duties include assisting in menu development and staff direction.
• May supervise up to ten employees and work across multiple outlets.
• Flexible to work in various restaurant outlets and shifts.
