Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant in the United States to support class execution, guest interactions, and kitchen operations. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and delivering a memorable customer experience in a busy retail kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Assist chefs with class execution that drives repeat visits and positive customer feedback and ensure high enrollment and positive reviews.
• Assist in setting up and breakdown of classes including organizing mise en place, prepping ingredients, and cleaning workstations.
