Job summary

Sur La Table in Oklahoma City is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to support chefs during classes, engage guests, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area. You’ll help deliver an exceptional guest experience through hospitality and teamwork.

Eligible candidates are at least 16 years old with retail or food-service exposure, and possess a Food Handler Certification. Flexible part-time hours, including weekends and holidays, are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler Certification.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and provide memorable customer experiences.
• Support chefs during classes and ensure smooth operation of events.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organize mise en place.
• Assist with restocking and inventory as needed.
• Adhere to food safety standards and store policies.
