Job summary

Sur La Table in the United States is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to support chefs, engage with guests, and ensure a clean, well-organized kitchen during classes and in-store experiences. Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep/kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture to educate and inspire customers.
• Assist chefs with class execution and drive enrollment and positive feedback.
• Help achieve class revenue goals and monitor KPIs.
• Set up and break down classes, prep mise en place, and clean workstations.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and inventory control.
