Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistical tasks for the annual campaign in the United States. The role supports the mission, reporting to Corps Officers, with a pay range reflecting hourly work on a seasonal basis.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Good moral character and compassionate interaction.
• Pass pre-employment background inquiry and motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.
• Significant customer service experience considered in lieu thereof.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and use of the Register to Ring platform to coordinate kettle sites.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to assigned locations.
• Field phone calls and inquiries related to kettle operations from bell ringers, sites, drivers and others.
• Work with corps officers to address kettle issues.
• Sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank as needed.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with courteous, professional communication.
• Maintain Safe from Harm Certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Local travel required.
