Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistics for the Christmas campaign. You will assist with kettle operations, data entry, and coordinating routes under the supervision of Corps Officers.

The role requires good character, strong communication, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Local travel is required and safety policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must be of good moral character and able to interact in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Candidates must pass pre-employment background inquiry and motor vehicle check with a valid license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant customer service experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and use of the Register to Ring kettle platform to coordinate kettle sites and daily routes.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to locations.
• Answer inquiries from bell ringers, kettle sites, drivers, and others regarding kettle operations.
• Collaborate with corps officers to address kettle issues as they arise.
• Sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank when needed.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with courteous communication and conflict management.
• Ensure compliance with The Salvation Army’s Safe from Harm policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
