Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Assistant to support bell ringing and logistical needs for our annual Christmas campaign. The role involves data entry, scheduling kettles, and coordinating with bell ringers using the Register to Ring system.

Responsibilities include transporting kettles and bell ringers, handling inquiries, addressing kettle issues with corps officers, and ensuring funds are sorted and banked as needed. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and use of the Register to Ring platform to coordinate kettle sites and scheduling.
• Assist with transportation of kettles and bell ringers to assigned locations.
• Field phone calls/inquiries pertaining to kettle operations.
• Collaborate with corps officers to address kettle issues.
• Sort kettle funds and deliver to the bank when needed.
• Maintain professional communication and a positive work atmosphere.
• Maintain Safe from Harm certification compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
