Job summary

Ferrovial seeks a hands-on Winter/road maintenance worker in Ontario. You will maintain contracted assets, operate heavy equipment during snow seasons, and follow safety practices to protect workers and the public.

The role requires a DZ license, a high school diploma, and 1+ years in road maintenance or construction. You will respond to winter and summer maintenance tasks, traffic control, and emergency rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years related construction/road maintenance experience with DZ license.
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license with acceptable driving record; AZ license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Snow/ice removal using snow removal equipment and seasonal maintenance on roads and bridges.
• Maintain and repair highways, signs, guardrails, lighting, potholes and striping in summer.
• Traffic control setup/removal; transport crew/equipment; emergency response rotations; other duties as assigned.
