Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Canada to maintain contracted assets such as roadways, signs, and guardrails. The role requires a DZ license and involves winter snow/ice removal and summer surface maintenance.

You must be able to work overtime, and be flexible for emergencies; PPE provided and safety training emphasized. The position offers hourly pay between $26.50 and $28.50, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of related construction/road maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contracted assets (roads, signs, barriers, fences, etc.) and operate heavy equipment.
• Winter: remove snow/ice using snow removal and salting equipment.
• Summer: repair/maintain highways, signs, guardrails, lighting, potholes, striping, reflectors.
• Be available for emergency rotations, overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with traffic control and transport crew/equipment to sites.
