Job summary

Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Loader Operator for winter maintenance duties in Ontario. You will operate a loader for snow removal, de-icing and related tasks, supported by a valid Ontario DZ license and Loader Operator certification.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, safety compliance, and teamwork. High school diploma or equivalent is required; 3+ years in construction/roads preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ontario DZ driver's license required.
• Loader Operator certification preferred.
• First aid and WHMIS training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently for snow removal and winter maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report issues.
• Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, bus stops and drainage.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to complete tasks on time.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Assist with de-icing and salting operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report progress or obstacles to supervisor.
• Transport crew and equipment to work sites as needed.
• Be available for emergencies including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
