Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer to work at facilities that load and unload barges and trucks. You will perform a wide variety of duties daily based on operation needs, including barge handling and grain transfer to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, completing required documentation, and maintaining equipment and work areas. This role may require extended shifts and exposure to outdoor conditions depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; wear PPE as required.
• Perform deckhand duties such as reading drafts and tying off barges.
• Handle barge loading duties and supervise deckhands.
• Move grain to storage locations and maintain grain quality.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• General cleanup, painting and basic housekeeping.
