Job summary

Carvana's Safe & Secure team is the frontline ensuring the site stays open, safe, and moving through snow, ice, and harsh weather. You'll monitor perimeters, respond to hazards, and support inspectors and logistics with quick, accurate intel.

This full-time seasonal position runs through winter with full benefits; you will be at the gate or on the lot performing safety audits, vehicle movement, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Solid decision-making in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build relationships quickly with on-site teams.
• Organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to work in extreme cold, snow and ice.
• Open availability and schedule flexibility for storms, overnights, weekends.
• Valid driver's license; MVR check; no CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate intrusion alerts.
• Run point at the gate using SAS App and RFID, enforcing ingress/egress.
• Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center gates.
• Receive training in first aid, CPR, and AED and use when needed.
• Keep the site operational in snow, ice, and extreme weather.
