Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to welcome clients in person and support daily office operations in Knoxville, TN. The role involves greeting clients, handling check-in, scheduling, and connecting clients with the right tax professional.

It is a non-remote, in-person position with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced, client-focused setting and are prepared to work evenings and weekends during tax season,

Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage clients professionally.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfort using basic computer programs and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and create a welcoming first impression.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional.
Manage client check-in and intake processes, including document scanning and organization.
Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a professional client experience.
Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure seamless daily operations.
Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and care.
