Job summary

Merchology is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator for our PA Operations team in Mechanicsburg. This seasonal role runs from October through January, with a second shift of 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, reporting to the Operations Supervisor to ensure top-quality customization and customer satisfaction.

You will operate a Wilcom multi-head embroidery setup, prepare materials, and maintain safe, efficient production workstation practices to support our B2B apparel and gifts business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds safely.
• Basic computer skills to read and print work orders as needed.
• Knowledge of English language to understand safety and training requirements and review and process work orders.

Responsibilities

• Run a multi-head Wilcom embroidery machine and other production machines.
• Stand at a standing workstation with ergonomic floor mats for safety and comfort.
• Hoop and prepare soft goods to run on an embroidery machine.
• Thread machine and change needles with hand-eye coordination.
• Read and execute production work orders and instructions.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Monitor the proper functioning of the embroidery machine.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Complete additional projects or duties as assigned.
