Job summary

The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is seeking a seasonal, Donor Database/Administrative Assistant to help with gift processing and administrative tasks from October 2026 through December 2026 (January 2027, if needed).

Position is part-time (20-25 hrs/week) with weekday hours 8:00am-4:30pm, located at Central Campus in Milwaukee. Responsibilities include processing donations, donor database work, mailings, and general office duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior administrative experience (paid or volunteer) required.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and database software skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Flexible, team player.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand or sit for long periods.
• Must align with MRM faith statements and Christian conduct.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Process donations through the gift processing system, including sorting mail, scanning, editing, and entering data into the donor database.
• Assist with donor database projects.
• Assist with assembling department mailings.
• Filing and answering phone calls.
