Job summary

Portland Rescue Mission is seeking a Seasonal Gift Processing Associate (Part-Time) to join a Christ-centered team in Portland, OR. The role focuses on accurately handling donations, inputting data, and producing receipts while delivering excellent donor service.

The position supports the Gifts Processing team, requires reliability and attention to detail, and operates during regular weekday hours at the Administration site.

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience.
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and a testimony of continued growth in faith.

• Understanding of Excel formulas and creating files that will export donor data.

Responsibilities

• Assist the daily processing of mail and electronic gifts, input donations into database, and prepare receipts.
• Maintain donor database accuracy so that marketing and donor wishes are met.
• Respond to donor and staff requests in a timely and accurate way, ensuring a warm, customer-service oriented response.
• Support Gift Processing Associate as needed in fast-paced gift processing tasks.
