Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager (ADM) to lead day-to-day operations across multiple stores/kiosks within a district. You will drive recruitment, training, and performance while ensuring profitability and client service excellence.

The role runs full-time seasonally starting Sept 1, 2026, with an anticipated end date of Apr 25, 2027, potentially extending to year-round. Strong leadership and tax knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent related business experience.
• 2 years previous management or supervisory experience.
• Tax knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-unit retail locations under the District Manager to maximize efficiency, revenue and profitability.
• Lead recruiting efforts and interview seasonal staff; oversee tax education flow and hire process.
• Monitor performance, ensure quality standards and coordinate with HR on training and development.
• Ensure locations meet company standards including setup, maintenance and relationships with property managers.
• Grow the business by retaining clients and creating positive brand awareness.
• Resolve client questions regarding policies and procedures.
• Guide employees in handling difficult problems and escalated disputes.
• Monitor P&L, discount reports and productivity; meet district goals.
