Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to lead a district of stores, recruiting seasonal staff and driving performance. You will work with the District Manager to optimize operations, revenue, and profitability while guiding team development and client service.

The role requires 2+ years of management experience, tax knowledge, and strong leadership skills to sustain performance during the busy tax season.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; management or tax/ accounting coursework preferred.
• 2 years of management or supervisory experience required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to drive business results.
• Tax knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and client service skills.
• Reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-unit retail locations in the district and partner with the District Manager to optimize operations, revenue and profitability.
• Lead recruiting, interview seasonal staff, and manage tax education flow and transition to hire process.
• Monitor performance, ensure quality standards, meet deadlines, and coordinate with HR on training and employee relations.
