Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly Store Associate for our Gilbert/Gateway, AZ location. You will assist customers, help them find products, and ensure a fast, courteous checkout experience while keeping shelves stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, planograms, and participating in BOPIS/SFS processes. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; candidates should be able to stand for long periods in a climate-controlled store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and perform merchandise recovery as needed
