Job summary

Michaels Stores in Hyannis is seeking a customer-service oriented team member to assist customers, manage checkout, and support store operations. You will help customers find products, enroll them in rewards programs, and participate in omnichannel activities like BOPIS and SFS.

The role involves stocking, merchandising, and supporting safety and shrink initiatives while delivering a positive store experience. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to assist with merchandise recovery and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms.
• Maintain in-stock and well-merchandised store; manage returns.
• Participate in Store In Stock Optimization and AD sets.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote brand values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
