Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate at our Indianapolis location to deliver friendly, accurate checkout experiences and support order pickup and returns.

You will train new hires on the POS, resolve issues with empathy, and help teammates maintain a positive, team-focused atmosphere. Responsibilities include handling transactions, protecting customer data, and promoting Nordstrom Loyalty while learning new tools and services.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems such as MS Windows, iOS and Android.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to support onboarding of new hires.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service and resolve returns, support order pickup, and process transactions accurately.
• Mentor new employees on the register and coach team members for consistent service.
