Job summary

Michaels in Evergreen Park, IL is seeking a courteous Store Team Member to help customers shop and checkout efficiently. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a well-merchandised store, while supporting store recovery and safety programs.

The role involves assisting customers with the Rewards program, enrollments, and omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Tasks include unloading trucks, stocking, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and complete merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully and represent Michaels values.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
