Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Team Member in Gaithersburg, MD. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience while handling cash to standards.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising, support omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), and promote the Rewards program and private label credit cards. This role emphasizes reliability and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image and be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
