Job summary

Michaels is seeking a customer-focused team member at our San Rafael store to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. You will handle fast and friendly checkout, support BOPIS/SFS, and engage customers in Michaels Rewards and card enrollments.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, maintaining planograms, and ensuring in-stock conditions while supporting store recovery and safety initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and manage merchandise returns/go-backs.
• Conduct Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.
• Interact positively, be a role model and respectful to all customers and teammates.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
