Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to greet clients, manage check-ins, and support daily office operations in person at our Louisiana office.

You will coordinate scheduling, connect clients with the appropriate tax professionals, maintain organization and confidentiality, and collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth client experience. Training provided; evenings and weekends are required during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and create a welcoming first impression as the face of the office.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs.
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents.
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care.
