H&R Block in our offices is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to welcome clients, manage scheduling, and support daily operations alongside tax professionals. This in-person role offers training and a path into tax preparation or leadership.

You will greet clients, handle check-in and intake, answer calls, and keep the office organized. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask are essential, with evenings and weekends required during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.
• Preferred: hospitality, call center, customer service or medical industries.
• Previous experience in receptionist/front desk/administrative support role.
• Experience working in a tax office, CPA firm, or financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care
