Job summary

Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is seeking a Cashier (Seasonal) in Houston, TX. You will serve as the first point of contact for guests, handling payments with precision while ensuring a positive guest experience.

As part of the seasonal team, you will upsell merchandise and manage inventory, balancing speed with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and be comfortable standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States (E‑Verify).
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Experience operating a POS system or ability to quickly learn new transaction technology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately using the POS system (cash, credit, debit).
• Greet guests and provide friendly information about attractions, pricing, and offers.
• Promote merchandise, upgrades, and bundles to increase guest satisfaction and sales.
• Monitor inventory, restock items, and keep the sales area clean and organized.
• Assist with queue management to maintain smooth guest flow.
