Job summary

Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Seasonal Actor to join our immersive haunted attractions and event productions. You will fully inhabit a character, perform with energy, and help create thrilling experiences for guests across select events.

You must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position is seasonal and employment is at-will, with opportunities to return for future events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verified.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Comfortable working in dark, loud environments with strobe effects, fog, and close guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Inhabit assigned character with energy and authenticity.
• Use improvisation to engage spontaneously with guests.
• Adapt performance in real time based on guest reactions and event needs.
• Collaborate with fellow actors, operations, and technical staff to ensure smooth show operations.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and guests.
