As part of the seasonal team, you will upsell merchandise and manage inventory, balancing speed with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and be comfortable standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States (E‑Verify).
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Experience operating a POS system or ability to quickly learn new transaction technology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately using the POS system (cash, credit, debit).
• Greet guests and provide friendly information about attractions, pricing, and offers.
• Promote merchandise, upgrades, and bundles to increase guest satisfaction and sales.

Job Summary

As a Cashier, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. You’ll process payments with precision, maintain accurate inventory records, and elevate guest satisfaction through friendly service and thoughtful upselling. Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to efficiently and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Issue receipts and handle refunds or exchanges according to company policies.
• Balance the register and generate end-of-day financial summaries to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Customer Service

• Greet every guest with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a warm and immersive first impression.
• Provide clear, helpful information about the attraction, pricing, and special offers.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive guest experience.

Upselling and Add-Ons

• Promote merchandise, upgrades, and bundle deals to enhance guest enjoyment and increase revenue.
• Stay informed about current promotions and event enhancements to effectively assist guests with purchasing decisions.

Inventory Management

• Monitor merchandise stock levels, restock items as needed, and report shortages to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales area.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts to ensure accurate tracking of all items.

Queue Management

• Support smooth guest flow by assisting with queue organization and maintaining a positive atmosphere in high-traffic areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified through E‑Verify.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Experience operating a POS system (such as Square), or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new transaction technology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the event area for extended periods.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for restocking and inventory support.

This is a seasonal position tied to events produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. Employment is at will, and there is no guarantee of continued or repeat employment in future seasons or events.
