Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a busy summer camp. You will supervise daily culinary operations, manage staff, budget, and allergen safety, while delivering scratch-cooked meals in a fast-paced on-site setting.

This live-in position runs May through September, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, competitive pay, a bonus structure, and provided room & board at rural camp facilities across the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start).
• Ability to oversee budgeting, ordering, and inventories.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; maintain a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and health sanitation standards.
• Control budgets, inventory, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
