Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales with a consultative approach and expert knowledge of top beauty brands, aligned to Sephora at Kohl’s standards. You will execute merchandise sets, support replenishment and visual standards, and deliver an excellent client experience in a retail setting.

You will build client loyalty, demonstrate product knowledge, stay current on beauty trends, and participate in required training while supporting inventory and department visual elements.

Qualifications

• Authentic passion for beauty.
• Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence in a clear and concise manner.
• Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility to clients through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients through product demonstrations and application to drive sales.
• Complete all required training to expand knowledge.
• Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets and cleanliness.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Assist with inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged products/fixtures to the supervisor.
