Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Alaska (Fairbanks) to maintain the company ledger and ensure accurate accounting. You will handle accounts payable, process payments, and ensure invoices are coded and recorded in QuickBooks.

Seasonal payroll duties apply during summer, including timecards and deductions. Responsibilities include month-end reporting, vendor accounts, and maintaining licenses and records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business with emphasis in Accounting preferred, or four years in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
• Solid knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll, and month-end reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company ledger and perform account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable by check, card, and ACH; code invoices accurately.
• Process seasonal payroll, review timecards, bonuses, and deductions.
• Assist with financial reporting, month-end, and vendor accounts.
• Renew licenses, file biannual reports, and manage office records.
