Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time Payroll & Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate biweekly payroll, payroll tax filings, and adherence to company policies. You will handle accounts payable, reconciliations, and other accounting duties, coordinating with HR to maintain employee pay records, deductions, and timekeeping while upholding confidentiality.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and collaboration with Accounting and HR; Paycom experience

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll, accounting, accounts payable, or related experience preferred.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or equivalent credential preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS; Paycom experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
• Review timecards, approved time-off, and payroll inputs for accuracy.
• Prepare and reconcile tip information and payroll adjustments.
• Review payroll warnings and discrepancies prior to submission.
• Process deductions, garnishments, reimbursements, and related transactions.
• Complete post-payroll processing, reconciliations, and related activities.
• Maintain organized payroll records and support HR/payroll audits.
