The Fresh Market in Charlotte seeks a Seafood Specialist to lead the seafood department with a focus on freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food-safety compliance. You will own inventory accuracy, rotation standards, and presentation while supporting guest engagement and promotions.

This role embodies hospitality and teamwork, with opportunities to train staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth operations during peak times and seasonal events, delivering an exceptional guest

Qualificações

• 2+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
