The Fresh Market is seeking a Seafood Specialist who will be the store’s point person for seafood department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food safety compliance. You will own seafood inventory accuracy, rotation standards, and presentation while supporting guest engagement and promotions.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.

• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
