The Fresh Market in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Seafood Specialist to lead the seafood department, ensure product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food-safety compliance. You will own seafood inventory, rotations, and presentation while supporting guest engagement and department readiness for promotions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and operational integrity, with opportunities to contribute to seasonal events and store performance.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
