Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a Line Operator in Minnesota to set up, monitor, and adjust processing equipment to meet product specifications. You will record production data, maintain sanitation, and assist with cross-training in other production areas.

The role requires standing for long periods in a wet, loud meat processing environment with regular movement of parts and occasional heavy lifting. Prior line experience and the ability to follow procedures are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production processes, food safety and quality controls typically required in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret simple written instructions and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with coworkers.
• Ability to use hand tools to adjust equipment and measure product.

Responsibilities

• Sets up equipment such as pumps, choppers, slitters, wrapper belts, and conveyors.
• Monitors equipment and product, collects, examines, measures, weighs, and tests product to verify setup and conformance to specifications.
• Adjusts equipment to regulate flow, color, slit depth, angle of cut, length of pieces and throughput.
• Records production data such as run time, waste, quantity, and dimensions of materials produced.
