Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Minnesota is seeking a Production Lead to coordinate and monitor production line activities, supervise the workforce in their area, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will train workers, maintain product records, and communicate with Supervisors, FSQA and lead staff to resolve issues, uphold quality, and keep lines moving in a fast-paced seafood processing environment.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in food manufacturing or seafood industry.
• Supervisory experience in food production preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; forklift operation may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor one section of production and oversee training, quality, productivity and sanitation.
• Oversee performance of employees in assigned production area.
• Ensure proper use of protective gear, safe machine operation and safe handling of cleaning agents.
• Report ongoing performance issues to supervisor and escalate as needed.
• Train workers in equipment operation, processing and safety procedures.
• Communicate with Supervisors, FSQA and lead personnel about problems or concerns.
