Qualifications

• Has worked in a Key II position at a Trident location in the past year.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food processing, seafood processing, or related field.
• Must have physical stamina for repetitive tasks like lifting, bending, standing for long periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for processing seafood.
• Basic math skills to weigh and measure seafood accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Strong hygiene practices and knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas while maintaining quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead in performing essential functions of two or more production lines.
• May assist with on-the-line training of new hire processors.
• Clean, sort, and prepare seafood, following procedures and safety rules.
• Remove shells, scales, bones, and unwanted parts using tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and storage.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with team to reach production goals in a fast-paced setting.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisor.
