Hy-Vee West Des Moines is seeking a Seafood Service/Meat Manager to lead the Meat department, train staff, and ensure high standards of freshness, pricing, and customer service. The role requires coordinating schedules, supervising employees, and maintaining proper storage and sanitation practices.

The position reports to the District Store Director and Store Manager, with responsibility for a team including the Assistant Seafood/Service Meat Department Manager and clerks.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent; food safety training.
• Over three years up to five years of similar or related work experience.
• Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

• Trains, supervises, disciplines, and evaluates department employees.
• Determines weekly work schedules and daily work plans for the department.
