ShopRite of Wallington is seeking a Seafood Manager to lead the Seafood Department, supervise associates, and drive sales while ensuring exceptional customer service. The role requires strong safety practices, inventory control, and staff development to maintain department standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, training, and consistent execution of company policies to deliver a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to operate basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25–60 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Ability to lead and engage associates to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Seafood Department and its associates.
• Lead associates to achieve sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement goals.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with company policies and laws.
• Train, onboard, and develop department staff according to policy.
• Ensure proper stocking, rotation, and presentation of seafood products.
