ShopRite’s Seafood Department in West Milford, NJ seeks a Seafood Manager to direct all Seafood operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead associates, train new hires, and uphold company service priorities in a dynamic retail environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety compliance, and excellence in customer experience while maintaining proper product presentation and department standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English clearly and accurately.
• Basic math proficiency for handling counts and calculations.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to lead and engage associates to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Seafood Department activities to meet sales and customer experience goals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with HAACP and food handling procedures.
• Provide onboarding, training, and feedback to associates.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and properly labeled displays and products.
• Greet customers, promote promotions, and support a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate staffing to meet projected sales and service needs.
