Job summary

ShopRite’s Manchester location is seeking a Seafood Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Seafood Department, driving sales, profit, and customer experience under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

Responsibilities include leading associates, ensuring safety and sanitation, maintaining records and temperature logs, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. regularly.
• Work with fresh, dried and/or processed products; handle spices and powders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Seafood Department functions and staff.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance per company policies.
• Lead and train department associates to achieve goals.
• Maintain temperature logs and production sheets; ensure proper labeling and rotation.
