Job summary

ShopRite of Wall Township is seeking a Seafood Manager to lead the Seafood Department, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and department goals. The role reports to the General Store Manager and requires strong leadership, safety, and operational skills.

Responsibilities include directing daily operations, training staff, ensuring compliance with HACCP, safety standards, and company policies while maintaining product quality and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Able to perform basic math and read product labels.
• Able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Willingness to lead and train department associates.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Seafood Department operations.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
• Train and engage department Associates for performance and growth.
• Maintain product quality, pricing accuracy, and records.
• Monitor inventory, displays, and COOs
• Deliver excellent customer service and experience.
