The Fresh Market is seeking a Seafood Specialist to lead seafood department excellence, ensuring product freshness, proper rotation, and accurate merchandising. You will own inventory accuracy, signage, and guest engagement while supporting promotions and seasonal events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seafood freshness, rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness and proper receiving/storage.
• Support promotions and seasonal events.
• Assist front-end operations as cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
