The Fresh Market is seeking a Seafood Specialist to lead the seafood department, ensure product freshness, proper dating, and accurate presentation. You will own inventory accuracy, rotation standards, and support guest engagement while upholding food safety and department readiness for promotions.

This role emphasizes teamwork, exceptional service, and adherence to safety standards. The position requires flexible hours, including weekends, and offers benefits consistent with a major specialty

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Aufgaben

• Ensure seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
