Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Seafood Cutter responsible for portioning and merchandising seafood products. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and benefits after introductory period.

The role requires precise cutting, adherence to customer specs, and compliance with QA, HACCP, SQF, and safety standards. Candidates should have at least one year of cutter experience and be ready to work in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Post high school training preferred.
• Minimum one year of professional cutter experience in seafood/ fish processing.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, trims, debones, and portions product for processing according to order specifications.
• Inspects and removes defects, bruises, or blemishes from the product.
• Reads and follows customer-specific instructions.
• Performs quality control checks and communicates defects to supervisors.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of work area and equipment.
• Follows HACCP, SQF, and safety regulations.
