Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood in Walton, KY is seeking a Seafood Cutter to portion and merchandice seafood products with precision. You will work with supervisors to schedule production, trim and debone seafood, and ensure portions meet customer specs.

You will follow QA, HACCP and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma and 1 year of cutter experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of professional cutter experience preferred.
• Experience in high-end fish/seafood processing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production with supervisors and managers.
• Clean, trim, and debone products for processing.
• Inspect and remove defects, bruises, or blemishes.
• Separate meats and by-products into containers and seal.
• Read and follow customer instructions precisely.
• Maintain QA, HACCP, SQF and safety regulations.
