Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Software Development Engineer to join the Programming Foundations Team within Amazon Builder Experience.

You will design and build developer tools used by Amazon engineers, working on languages, libraries, and build tools that power services across the company. You will maintain compilers and package managers, collaborate with engineers company-wide, and tackle problems that affect the broad software stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded software applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer tools that Amazon engineers use every day.
• Work with languages and libraries powering Amazon's services to improve usability and reliability.
• Maintain build tools, compilers and package managers; contribute to 3PSW repository mirrors.
• Collaborate with engineers across Amazon to address pain points and help debugging.
